How the key works
Your license key is shown on screen the moment you pay, and emailed to you. In CoinScope Pro, open
Help > License, enter the key, then enter the 6-digit code we email to the address you bought with.
That is checked once, over the internet – after that CoinScope Pro runs offline for good and never checks
in again. Reinstalling on the same computer does not use up one of your three.
Need a fourth computer? Email support@coinscopepro.com with the email address you bought with and the
last four digits of the card you paid with, and I will re-issue it.
The terms, plainly
- Try it before you pay. The same installer runs as a free 5-day trial – no
account, no card – with about a third of the program: the camera, capture, your collection,
labels and a taste of the tools. It is the honest way to find out whether the program works with
your microscope, your lighting and your computer, and it is why the next term is what it is. - No refunds, except for specific problems. A duplicate or mistaken charge, a key that
cannot be activated, or the program not running on a computer that meets the system requirements –
the last two once support has tried to fix it. The trial exists so that nobody has to buy in order to
find out whether this works for them, and support is here to help with anything that goes wrong. - Your photographs are always yours. Even with no license, the program will
always let you export your photographs and your collection database.
What it will not do
- It does not grade your coin. It measures surfaces and shows its working; a grade is an opinion
from a person or a grading service. - It does not authenticate anything.
- It cannot tell you what metal a coin is made of. No photograph can – a plated cent, a toned
silver coin and a counterfeit all photograph like the thing they resemble. - It refuses to answer when the evidence will not carry the question, and says what to do
differently. That refusal is the point of the program.
